One of America’s oldest and best-known shirtmakers, we sell a wide variety

Hathaway
Another old and well-known shirtmaker. Hathaway was recently purchased
by a new investor group which has brought the company back to its roots
as a better shirtmaker. We sell a wide variety of Hathaway dress shirts
(many of which are still made in Waterville, Maine) which feature Hathaway’s
trademark three-hole buttons and the signature red “H” at the bottom of
the front placket. Hathaway shirts are beautifully made traditional-cut
shirts and the company has a large in-stock book to provide special order

Neema Clothing - Distributor of Haspel Clothing
A manufacturer of better men's suits and sport coats. We recommend Neema
for their well-made, reasonably priced men's suits. Neema produces both
traditional and updated men's clothing, all of which we carry with our
exclusive "Ivy Brooks" label. They also produces a wonderful, well-priced
men's cashmere/wool overcoat. Perhaps most important, Neema is the distributor
of the famous Haspel line. Haspel is best known for their cotton poplin
and seersucker summer suits as well as their light weight linen suit program.
Peerless Clothing
A Canadian manufacturer, Peerless produces a wide range of suits, sport
coats and pants. Our better men's dress pants come from Peerless as well
as many of our updated suits. In addition, Peerless produces "Lauren"
by Ralph Lauren suits and sport coats, a line which continues to be one
of our most popular resources for traditional clothing. We are very fond
of Peerless, particularly for their clean, updated in-stock styles and
because their national distribution center is in St. Albans, VT, about
30 minutes from Burlington.
Pine State Knitwear
Pine State produces a wide range of novelty cotton sweaters. They are well known for their line of golf motif sweaters, which are consistently a favorite holiday gift. Pine State also makes Lenore Romano designer sweaters, a beautiful collection of rich cotton and wool sweaters.

Rainforest
Rainforest makes better men’s outerwear, mostly in unique microfibre fabrics.
Our most popular style is their ¾ length microfibre coat with a removable
down-filled lining. This coat is incredibly warm in the winter and doubles
nicely as a spring jacket once the lining is removed. Rainforest’s motto

Sero makes shirts for us under two labels: their own “Madison Trader”
label as well as our “The Shirt by Ivy Brooks” label. Sero shirts are
traditional, comfortable weekend shirts – perfect for jeans or khakis.
Sero’s new upscale pant line, designed by well-known pant tailor Robert
Amerigo, is also now available at Ivy Brooks through special order.
Superba Neckwear
Superba competes with Randa/Wemco as the “biggest of the big” in the neckwear business. We carry a number of Superba ties with our own “Ivy Brooks” label. Superba also manufactures Studio Fumagallis better men’s neckwear, a frequent favorite for dressy, elegant ties as well as Wilke-Rodriguez’s contemporary ties.
Tallia Uomo
Tallia Uomo is an exclusive line of updated suits, sport coats and pants.
We sell Tallia both in our Burlington store and by special order through
their catalog. Their suits are roughly priced around $600, with sportcoats

Tricots St. Raphael
Tricots St. Raphael is one of our favorite sweater resources. Known for
their rich colors, unique patterns and high quality merino wool, Tricots
sweaters are simply the best out there. Year after year, customers tell
us stories about wearing Tricots sweaters for as many as ten years without
them losing their shape. In addition, we are always amazed at the number
of customers whose father/husband/significant other expects their Tricots
